Hi, I’m Rus Harper, the creator of Financial Templates ’n Tools. I’ve spent the last 15 years working in the financial services industry, helping businesses and individuals understand their numbers and make smarter decisions.

Even with all the software and systems available, I kept noticing the same thing—people often just needed simple, well-designed spreadsheets to stay organized and get clarity. I became the person coworkers, friends, and small business owners would call when they needed a clean budget, a useful tracker, or a spreadsheet to untangle a financial mess.

That’s how Financial Templates ’n Tools started.

I wanted to take the templates I’ve refined over the years and make them available to anyone—business owners, freelancers, side-hustlers, or anyone trying to get a better handle on their money. Every template on this site is built with the same principles I’ve leaned on throughout my career

I build each one the way I’d build it for myself—or for a client—clean, intuitive, and ready to use.
